Back again

Here I am back again.
Can't believe it has been 5 months since I posted on here. I guess I have been busier than I thought. Business has been slow but I am hopeful that with fall coming and Christmas right around the corner things will pick back up again.
I am still closed on Wednesdays at least until Thanksgiving we will play that by ear.
There is a card class every Tuesday from 2:00 until 4:00 and a beginner class on Thursday from 2:00 until 4:00. I have 2 crops a month. The first is on the first Friday of the month in the evening from 5:30 until Midnight, and the second is on the third Saturday of the month from 10:00 until 5:00. Hope to see everyone there. A crop is a good time to have some time to yourself and also get some projects and or pages done. I will also be doing some scrapbooking classes over the next 3 months. [more about that in my newsletter]
Big news!!!
I will be going to Hawaii for Christmas leaving on the 15th of December and returning on the 15th of January. So you will need to get those gift certificates early.
The Christmas card class was a big success. Everyone made 10 cards each one of them different. The class lasts about 3 1/2 to 4 hours. I am planning on having another one the end of October or the 1st week in November more on that later.

Monday, March 16, 2009

It's Monday evening and I have been putting off doing taxes. But, the time has come. Because of the rain the pet-a-palooza parade and festival was canceled due to the inclement weather. But, never fear the parade and festival will be going on this coming Saturday the 21st. Tomorrow in class we will be making 3 new cards. Two cards are for Easter and one is a folded card very fun. Thursday there is a lunch seminar for sba. I plan to attend as it is on marketing your business on a budget.

Card class Tuesday

Hi
We had a great class on Tuesday we made a beautiful Easter Card with vellum embossing, and outline stickers, a masculine Birthday Card, and a note card in pink and black. I will have pictures to follow soon. Went to Maryland last weekend to see my daughter, son-in-law- and 2 grands. They will be moving to Hawaii on Sunday for at least 2 years. I have always wanted to go now I will certainly make it a priority. A week from Saturday is the pet-a-palooza pet parade and dog day out. lots of things to do down at the waterfront. Parade is at 11:00 am. See you there.
